Rejection paradox
Some people are so afraid of being rejected that they start by rejecting others so as not to give them a chance to do so.
The ironic part is: guess who are the only ones to reject them?

I'm both, naturally. It's not so much a question of being one OR the other as it is one of balance between one and the other...
